Purpose of the SingleGene™ PCR Kits:
Compare gene expression levels for any human or mouse gene represented by
SuperArray's cDNA GEArrays with our SingleGene PCR Kits. These kits are designed
for gene-by-gene array data verification using conventional or end-point RT-PCR.
The unique components of this kit make conventional PCR more quantitative and
provide quantitative RT-PCR to researchers without access to real-time
equipment.

SingleGene™ Kit Contents:
Enough of the following reagents for 24 reactions:
Primers: One pair, validated, gene-specific, designed for end-point
PCR
Master mix: Two vials, specially formulated, convenient-for-everyday-use
Internal Normalizer: Unique and specially designed for more quantitative
results
Each SingleGene PCR Kit includes gene-specific PCR primers that are
pre-tested to amplify a fragment of the correct size. Save time and money in
primer design and testing by letting us do the work for you.
The SingleGene PCR Kits also include a specially formulated and optimized
master mix for PCR. The master mix is lyophilized for easy storage, and contains
everything need for PCR...just add water, template, and primers. Our
"Sweet" enzyme formulation allows you to transfer the completed
reaction from the PCR tube directly to the agarose gel well for analysis.
The Internal Normalizer included with each SingleGene PCR controls for
systematic errors such as template loading and minimizes tube-to-tube variation
in your results. Band intensities are normalized to an internal control: a
housekeeping gene amplified in the same PCR tube as the gene of interest. The
SingleGene PCR Kits make conventional RT-PCR more quantitative.
Pre-Validated Assay:
Primers sets are pre-tested and yield single PCR products of the predicted
size using species-specific source of universal RNA.
Simple Assay Format:
Just mix template with ready to use PCR master mix, gene-specific primers and
Internal Normalizer. Perform PCR and transfer completed reactions directly to
agarose gel wells.
