The GEArray™ S Series gene array contains up to 450 cDNA fragments from genes associated with a specific biological pathway. These cDNA fragments are printed on a 3.8 x 4.8 cm nylon membrane with an advanced non-contact printing technology. Each cDNA fragment is printed in the traditional single-spot (or "Singlicate") format in an array of 16 columns by up to 30 rows. On the backside of each membrane, a bar-coded serial number is printed for easy tracking and documentation. The S Series gene array is designed for one-time use only. Each membrane is packaged individually in a hybridization tube, ready to use.
