RNASafer™ RNA Stabilization Reagent

RNASafer is an aqueous, non-toxic tissue or cell storage reagent that rapidly stabilizes and protects cellular RNA in situ in frozen or unfrozen specimens. A cell or tissue suspension in RNASafer can be stored for subsequent RNA extraction at -20 ºC for more than one year. We recommend storing only fresh, previously unfrozen tissue or cell samples in RNASafer. You can use any RNA isolation kit to extract the RNA from samples stored in RNASafer. We highly recommend using RNASafer when submitting cell or tissue samples for SABiosciences' Microarray Services.

RNASafer preserves cellular RNA in cell and tissues for up to:

• 1 day at 37 ºC
• 9 days at 25 ºC
• 1 month or more at 4 ºC
• 1 year or more at -20 ºC or -80 ºC
